JOB TITLE: Break Fix Technician

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
The Break Fix Technician’s role within the Reprographics team will focus on the following areas:
- Provide maintenance to the end users either by the deadline or within a renegotiated time in accordance with the end users instructions
- Maintain a proactive relationship with the client staff to ensure queries and problems are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
- Hours: 40 hour work week during the contracted hours of operation dependant on the client requirements.
- Maintain tool kit, supplies, and accurate inventory
- Perform preventive maintenance and adjustment of photocopiers
- Repair photocopiers, copiers, MFD`s and personal printers
- Basic troubleshoot equipment to determine the cause of malfunctions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- First line maintenance on fleet and production equipment
- Carry out machine maintenance and replace user consumables when necessary.
- Maintain a proper stock of paper, toner and maintenance kits for all printers and copies in the fleet (Mostly HP)
- Changing maintenance kits for Copy Center production machines (Canon)
- Prioritize maintenance requests
- Maintain a good rapport with client and end users, displaying a professional attitude both face to face and on the telephone.
- To notify the Customer Service Associate or Account Manager of any stock requirements and any issues requiring a technician on site

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of experience related to technical/repair of business equipment.
- High School and Technical School graduate or equivalent experience.
- A+ and/or N+ Certification a plus.
- Applicant must possess some knowledge of computers and electronics, Computer/Digital Technology or related fields.
- Scope of Model Knowledge: B&W , Color digital copier, MFP, printer and fax repair.
- Skilled on 4 segments of B/W and color copiers, preferred.
- Exceptionally skilled in organization, attention to detail and effective prioritization of duties.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be positive, outgoing, self-motivated and committed to building and maintaining strong customer relations.
- Knowledge of HP and Canon Print equipment
- Document Production and print technology processes experience
